Energy Monitoring
Our remote energy monitoring system provides a flexible and scalable solution, no BMS required. We offer a single-meter package where tenants can manually record meter readings, with the option to integrate the meter into a system at a later date. Existing meters can also be seamlessly incorporated into our platform, which can be connected to your businesses IT network for remote access.
Through our web-based dashboard, you can view live data in real time, with the ability to drag and drop various meters onto a graph for comparison. This feature is particularly valuable for cross-referencing, helping to pinpoint inefficiencies. For instance, in mirror-imaged floors, our system can identify if one is consuming significantly more energy, prompting further investigation.
Our system also supports the monitoring of gas and water, giving you a comprehensive view of utility usage across your building. This makes it easy to identify anomalies or inefficiencies across multiple utilities, enhancing operational insight.
This solution is perfect for commercial properties with multiple tenants, streamlining energy, gas, and water billing by providing accurate and transparent usage data for each tenant. It's an efficient way to monitor, manage, and optimise utility use across your building.

From start to smart.

BMS Multi Meter
Understanding energy usage can often be challenging, but our easily customisable graphs and intuitive software simplify the process. With clear visualisations, you can quickly identify where energy is being used within a building. This solution is especially valuable for commercial premises housing multiple companies, making it effortless to allocate energy costs and provide accurate bills to individual tenants.

Lighting the Way to Smarter Energy Use
Case Study: Identifying High Electrical Usage with Individual Floor Metering
To demonstrate the benefits of metering individual floors, a test rig was set up to monitor the lighting circuits for the ground floor, first floor, and second floor. The image above displays the energy usage of each floor over a typical operating day, represented as three lines on a graph.
Analysis of the data revealed a significant discrepancy: while the ground and first floor lighting circuits showed consistent and expected energy usage, the second floor’s lighting circuit displayed abnormally high electricity consumption.
This insight, made possible by separating the floors' energy data, indicates a potential issue with the second floor's lighting system. Possible causes for this anomaly include:
Faulty Ballasts or Drivers: Inefficient or malfunctioning components could be drawing excessive power.
Overloaded Circuit: Additional or unauthorised fixtures may have been added, increasing the full load current of the circuit.
Incorrect Programming or Control Settings: Lighting schedules or dimming levels may not be optimised for the second floor.
Damaged Wiring: Electrical faults could lead to energy loss or inefficiencies.
The implications of this high usage are significant, leading to increased operational costs, a higher carbon footprint, and potential wear and tear on the electrical system. By identifying and addressing this issue promptly, building managers can reduce costs, improve energy efficiency, and ensure the long-term reliability of the lighting system.
This case highlights the importance of individual floor metering in pinpointing inefficiencies and identifying potential electrical faults before they escalate.
